Environmental De-Icing Fluid Program

Since 1997, LF Green Development has managed the de-icing fluid (DIF) program for the General Mitchell International Airport (GMIA) in Milwaukee, WI. The company developed the DIF storm water management plan in compliance with the Wisconsin Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (WPDES) permit. LF Green coordinated the collection of data and upkeep of the permit for GMIA. In managing this program, LF Green worked with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to review the storm water management plan for effectiveness and compliance for all firms participated in this program.
